Winterhawks Prospect Graham Jones Named to Team Manitoba

Portland, Ore. - The Portland Winterhawks Hockey Club is proud to recognize prospect forward Graham Jones, who was named to Team Manitoba's U16 male hockey team for the 2023 Canada Games earlier this week.
Jones, 15, was selected by the Winterhawks in the first round, #18 overall, in the 2022 WHL Prospects Draft after posting 33 goals and 48 assists in 30 games with the RINK Hockey Academy in Winnipeg during the 2021-22 campaign. Playing in Minnesota this season for Shattuck St. Mary's 15O, Jones has recorded 10 goals and 23 helpers in 22 games thus far, and is teammates with fellow Winterhawks prospect Gavin Kor.
The Canada Games feature provincial teams from across the country competing in 20 sports every two years, alternating between summer and winter competitions. The 2023 winter games are set for Feb. 18 - March 5, 2023 on Prince Edward Island. Click here for more information about the 2023 Canada Games.
