Nov 11th VS Rebels: Friday afternoon, the Wheat Kings host the Red Deer Rebels. Before Tuesday, the Rebels were the number one team in the WHL standings but immediately ran into trouble facing the Winnipeg Ice in back to back games. In Brandon, the Red Deer Rebels defeated the Wheat Kings 5-4 in triple overtime, winning their best of seven series in 6 games advancing them to the 2nd round of the WHL playoffs.
Joby's Back: Wheat Kings Top Prospect Joby Baumuller is back in the lineup this afternoon. Baumuller, 15, played a pair of games last week but is still looking for his first career WHL point. Baumuller was drafted 12th overall in the 2022 WHL Prospects Draft.
