
Winterhawks Call up Forward Braeden Jockims

Portland, Ore. - The Portland Winterhawks Hockey Club today recalled forward Braeden Jockims from the Nipawin Hawks (SJHL) to the team's active roster as an affiliate player.
Jockims, 18, appeared in eight regular-season WHL games earlier this season, tallying one assist. He then joined Nipawin on Nov. 14 and put up six goals, two assists and eight points in nine games in the SJHL. The Saskatoon, Sask. native originally signed with Portland last year after producing 22 points in 27 games with the Saskatoon Contacts U18 AAA program. Jockims has scored one goal and two assists in 31 career games with the Winterhawks.
In addition to the eight he played earlier this year as a roster player, Jockims is eligible to play in 10 games under affiliate player status.
