Winterhawks Announce 2011-12 Promotions & Giveaways
August 31, 2011 - Western Hockey League (WHL)
Portland Winterhawks News Release
Teddy bears, a daylight game and pink ice: just three of the exciting promotions the Winterhawks will be running this season.
The Portland Winterhawks have announced their promotions and giveaway schedule for the 2011-12 season, and fans won't want to miss these great events.
Fan favorites like the Teddy Bear Toss, Dash For Cash and Mascot Night return bigger and better than ever. In addition, after the success of the daylight game in Veterans Memorial Coliseum last year, the team will be doing it again on November 25 with a 3 p.m. game against the Spokane Chiefs.
Many of these popular nights sell out in advance, and fans won't want to miss any of the fun. The best way to guarantee tickets to all these events is with season tickets, a 20-game package or 10-game package. Fans can call 503-236-HAWK or e-mail seats@winterhawks.com to guarantee the best locations. Package holders will receive special gifts on each of these nights, listed in parentheses with each promotion:
