Winnipeg Blue Bombers News Release

WINNIPEG, MB.- The Winnipeg Blue Bombers today announce the club has agreed to terms with quarterback Dan LeFevour.

LeFevour (6-3, 230, Central Michigan, March 19, 1987 in Downers Grove, IL) is a five-year CFL veteran, including three seasons with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats (2012-14) and one with each the Montreal Alouettes (2015) and Toronto Argonauts (2016). LeFevour started three games for Toronto last season, throwing for 779 yards and six touchdowns, while also rushing 41 times for 155 yards.

In 43 games for the Tiger-Cats, four of which he started, LeFevour racked up 1,670 passing yards and five touchdowns on 66.8% passing, adding another 631 yards and 11 touchdowns on the ground.

"Dan comes in and gives us some quality CFL experience in the quarterback stable," said General Manager Kyle Walters. "He's been around this league for a number of seasons, and will work well with both Dom and Matt, helping our offence in whatever is needed."

The Central Michigan product has also spent time in the NFL with the Chicago Bears, Cincinnati Bengals, Indianapolis Colts, Jacksonville Jaguars, and most recently, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The 2007 and 2009 MAC Offensive Player of the Year is the all-time conference leader in both completions (1,171) and passing yards (12,905). His 149 total touchdowns scored for the Chippewas ranks second all-time in NCAA history.
