MN Wilderness 3 @ Aberdeen 5 - A late third period surge secured a win for the Aberdeen Wings as they defeated the Minnesota Wilderness 5-3. The Wings found the back of the net three times in the final seven minutes, receiving goals from Jakob Breault, Evan Googins and Natan Vertes. Noah Etter and Zach Aughe also lit the lamp for Aberdeen. Henry Welsch secured the win by making 25 saves. Zach Michaelis, Lewis Crosby and Mitch Allard scored for the Wilderness in the loss. Jonathan Mor made 37 saves.
The two teams will meet again at the Odde tonight for the final round, for now, in a 4 game set. The Wings will be looking to sweep the Wilderness back to Minnesota.
