October 26, 2019 - North American Hockey League (NAHL)
Odessa Jackalopes News Release
ODESSA, TX - Much like Thursday, the Jackalopes (5-7-1-1) were tied 0-0 after 20 minutes to the Lone Star Brahmas (11-3-0-1). But also like last night the Brahmas scored in the second and third period to defeat Odessa in shutout fashion.
The Jackalopes fell 4-0, losing their third straight game at home.
In the second period, the Brahmas capitalized on two rebounds and took a 2-0 lead. Despite some Grade-A chances for the Jacks, they could not find the back of the net.
Lone Star added two more goals in the third period, including one on the power play, to extend their lead to 4-0. It was a lead they held on to for the remainder of the game.
The Jackalopes will close out the weekend series against the Brahmas on Saturday night. Face-off is set for 7:15 pm at the Ector County Coliseum.
