Tomahawks Get Tricked, Fall to Generals

JOHNSTOWN, Penn. - The Johnstown Tomahawks fell to the Northeast Generals on Saturday, 3-1.

The game remained scoreless until halfway through the 2nd period, when Trevor Smith put the Generals on the board. Northeast later increased their lead to three after goals from Ethan Destefani and Joseph Mancuso.

Spencer DenBeste scored his 3rd goal of the series with 6 seconds left in the game, denying the Generals a shutout victory.

The Tomahawks remain 3rd place in the NAHL East Division, trailing the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights by one point. Johnstown and Northeast will face off again on Sunday, giving them a chance to gain ground on Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, who will play the final NAHL game this month on October 30th.
