Wings to Visit Keithville Middle School

BOSSIER CITY, LA (May 15)-Several members of the Bossier-Shreveport BattleWings will be speaking to an assembly of sixth graders at Keithville Elementary/Middle School on Thursday, May 17 at 1:30PM.

"It's really critical to reach youngsters at this age," said BattleWings Head Coach Jon Norris. "Our players want to stress to the importance of staying in school, getting good grades and going to college. Even at this young age, they need to understand the value of making good choices and how it can impact your life." Norris will be joined by several BattleWings players who will share their own personal stories.

"We are so honored to have representatives from the Battlewings come and share with our students the importance of hard work and preparation to be productive members of society," said Principal Mark Allen.

More than 150 students are expected at the assembly to be held in the school's auditorium.
