HEAD COACHES: Manchester's Ben Bennett guides the Wolves in his third season as head coach. In 2005, Bennett turned around a 5-11 club and took them to the playoffs following a 12-4 regular season and East Division title. In 2006, Bennett once again guided his Wolves to the second-round of the playoffs, which ended in a one-point 40-39 loss with 47seconds left. Bennett is 49-29 all-time as an af2 coach, including playoffs.
Bossier Battle Wings Jon Norris is currently 5-1 this season. This is Norris' first season with the Battle Wings.

Manchester INJURY REPORT:

DB Jon Quezada Achilles IR
WR Arel Gordon Hamstring IR
DROPBACK: The Wolves won their six-straight home game, and third-straight in 2007, bringing them to 3-3 for the season.
FORWARD MOTION: Manchester hopes to enter Week #8, 4-3, with a win tonight giving them their first win on the road.
MILESTONES:
- Wolves DB Allistair Sebastien currently has 27 interceptions for his career and is slowly approaching first place all-time in af2 history in that category. The New York native is behind Matt Forbes 28 and Arkee Thompson who has 27.
TEAM NOTES/TRENDS:
Wolves Dropping In Weekly Poll: The Wolves were unranked in Week #7's coaches' poll, while Bossier dropped from __ to ___.
PLAYERS/MATCHUPS TO WATCH:
Wolves QB Ryan Porter: Wolves quarterback Ryan Porter bounced back from his first loss with a complete game against the Albany Conquest last Friday, 53-48 win, as he threw for 235 yards and six touchdowns with no interceptions. Porter will have to keep this same consistency to pull out a win against a strong Bossier squad.
Wolves Three-Headed Receiving Core vs. Battle Wings Defense: With the Wolves relying on David Bailey on defense, Manchester's receiving core of: Ari Confesor, Patrick Rouzard and Jarrail Jackson have stepped up big. The Battle Wings defense is definitely stingy as they already shutout a team this season and are giving up a sixth-best 39.3 points per game.
Wolves secondary vs. Battle Wings QB Quincy Carter: Battle Wings starting quarterback and ex-NFL-er Quincy Carter is performing well in his rookie season as he has thrown for 1,597 yards and 34 touchdowns with just five interceptions in Bossier's first six games. The Wolves secondary will be on their toes as they will rely on Allistair Sebastien (27 career interceptions), David Bailey and newcomers Travis Pugh and Matt Castillo. The Wolves secondary has been stingy as of late and will look to keep the trend by providing heavy pressure up front led by Maurice Fountain (6.0 sacks), James Midboe (2.0 sacks) and Ramal Faunteroy to force Carter out of the pocket in an attempt to force some bad throws.
