
Wings Sweep Minot, Head into Christmas Break in 1st Place

Aberdeen 7 @ Minot 1 - The Aberdeen Wings made a statement this weekend as they finished off the sweep of the Minot Minotauros with a 6-1 win on Friday night. John Sladic scored a pair of goals in the win while Joe Strada had a goal and two assists. Nic Sicoly also potted a goal and two assists and Max Salpeter had a goal and an assist. Connor Beatty lit the lamp, Tim Makowski added a goal of his own we think... and Jonathan Bendorf finished with 3 assists. Matt Vernon made 28 stops for the Wings. Newly acquired forward Vince Marino netted the only goal for the Minotauros while Ben Garrity and Nicholas Grabko combined for 30 saves.
The boys will head home for the Christmas break, but will return for a road game at Brookings December 28th @ Brookings! We will be taking a fan but s to that game! Cost is $28, the bus will load @ 3:30 at the Odde Ice Center and depart at 4pm and return after the game. Price includes game ticket and transportation. BYOB!
The Wings will host Brookings on December 29th then again on New Years Eve December 31st!
