
Wings Sweep Bruins

Aberdeen Wings News Release
The Wings erased a 2-0 deficit to come from behind to defeat and sweep the Bruins in Austin thanks to a 3-2 win on Saturday night. The Bruins held a 2-0 lead early in the 3rd period thanks to goals from Tiernan Shoudy and Mason McCormick. The Wings started their comeback in the 3rd period as Pierson Brandon and Natan Vertes scored to tie the game at the end of regulation. Late in the overtime Mack Beyers rushed up the ice and fired a shot through the legs of Austin goalie Tyler Shea with less than a second remaining to pick up the OT win. Henry Welsch made 22 saves in the win, while Shea made 33 saves in the loss.
The Wings will return home for an actual home stand starting this coming Friday & Saturday night at the Odde Ice Center taking on the Chippewa Steel. The Wings will remain home for 7 of their next 8 games (Bismarck Nov. 29th & 30th, Wilderness Dec. 6th & 7th, @ Minot Dec. 10th, vs. Bismarck December 13th). Tickets can be purchased at any of the C-Express stores in Aberdeen! Doors open at 5:30 on games nights and the puck drops at 7:15!
