Rochester Red Wings News Release

The Red Wings scored three in the ninth inning to snap a 1-1 tie and beat the Syracuse Mets, 4-1, Saturday night in the Salt City.

Rafael Bautista's one-out double scored Cody Wilson, who walked to lead off the inning, for the winning run. Three batters later, Corban Joseph delivered two insurance runs with a single to right.

Joseph gave the Wings (22-30) the 1-0 lead in the third inning on a sacrifice fly.

The game remained that way until an 8th inning homer by Drew Jackson that tied the game.

Cody Eppler started for Rochester and tossed six scoreless innings allowing just three hits and two walks with six strikeouts.

Bautista had three hits and Joseph knocked in three to lead the offense.

The Wings can win the series with a win on Sunday in the finale.
