Wings Return Home Friday for Final Four Games of Regular Season

(Rochester, NY ) - With an International League playoff berth on the line, the Rochester Red Wings return to Frontier Field for the final four regular season games of the 2013 season. Besides the excitement of a playoff push, the four-game homestand is loaded with great promotions including three fireworks shows, two fan appreciation days and a Joe Mauer bobblehead giveaway.

The Wings enter play on Thursday just a 1/2-game behind Norfolk in the Wild Card chase and only 2 1/2 GB of Pawtucket in the IL North.

Tickets for all four remaining regular season games are still available and can be purchased at the Frontier Field Box Office, over the phone at (585) 423-WING (9464) or online at RedWingsBasball.com.

The Wings return from their final road trip of the season on Friday (7:15 p.m., gates at 6:00 p.m.) to open a two-game set against the Buffalo Bisons (Blue Jays). Friday's action is highlighted by a fantastic post-game fireworks show presented by Local Toyota Dealers and a Team Photo giveaway (first 5,000 fans) courtesy of Hillside Family of Agencies, Conolly Printing and Messenger Post Media.

The Wings will also be donning special 90's throwback jerseys on Friday, which will be auctioned off during the game to benefit ABVI.

On Saturday, the Wings and Bisons wrap up their brief series with a 7:05 p.m. game (5:30 p.m. gates) that features an ESL Federal Credit Union Post-Game Fireworks display as well as a $2 Dunkin Donuts gift card giveaway to the first 1,000 fans through the gates.

Rohrbach Brewing Company presents Beers, Brats & Baseball on Saturday, too! For a special $35 ticket, fans can enjoy 12 samples of Rohrbach's various beers, an all-you-can-eat buffet in the Nest (picnic area beyond the right field wall) from 5:30-7:30 p.m. and a ticket to the game in the seating bowl.

Sunday, the Wings open their final series of the 2013 regular season with a 6:05 game (5:00 p.m.) against the Scranton/WB RailRiders (Yankees) on the first of two Fan Appreciation days at the ballpark. The Wings will be paying tribute to the great fans of Rochester by giving away boat loads of prizes over the last two days of the season.

The first 2,000 fans in attendance on Sunday will receive one of the most unique giveaways of the season - a Joe Mauer Red Wings Bobblehead presented by ESL Federal Credit Union. After the game, the Wings will set off the final fireworks show of the season at Frontier Field courtesy of Rochester Area Honda Dealers.

The regular season wraps up with the final Fan Appreciation Day on Labor Day with a 1:05 p.m. matinee (12:00 p.m. gates).

The Red Wings will be getting fans ready for winter - with a Snow Brush giveaway to the first 500 fans courtesy of Basch & Nickerson LLP - and the 2014 baseball season - with a 2014 Red Wings Magnet Schedule giveaway to the first 5,000 fans presented by Airport Transmission.

As always, fans can also enjoy fantastic nightly food specials at the Frontier Field concession stands and get an autograph from their favorite Red Wings players prior to every home game courtesy of the Hillside Family of Agencies.
