Local Bands to Headline Syracuse Chiefs Beer Fest

Syracuse, NY - The Syracuse Chiefs are pleased to announce that local musical acts Mark Doyle & The Maniacs and Dave Hanlon's Cookbook will perform live at the Syracuse Chiefs Beer Fest on Saturday, September 14 at NBT Bank Stadium.

Mark Doyle & The Maniacs is led by guitarist/producer Mark Doyle, who has toured and recorded with notable artists such as Meat Loaf, Bryan Adams, and Hall & Oates. The band has won multiple SAMMY awards, including Best Blues CD in both 2010 and 2011. Mark Doyle & The Maniacs is scheduled to take the stage at the Syracuse Chiefs Beer Fest at 1:00pm.

Cookbook has shared the stage with international artists such as Average White Band, George Benson, and The Rippingtons. The group has won three SAMMY Awards and has released three CDs. Cookbook will take the stage at approximately 2:40pm.

"We are very excited that some of the area's best musical talent will be on display at the Syracuse Chiefs Beer Fest," said Chiefs General Manager John Simone. "There is no doubt that these two musical acts will add a great deal of the enjoyment to the event."

Admission to the Syracuse Chiefs Beer Fest is $35 per person in advance and $45 per person on the day of the event. Designated driver tickets will be sold on the day of the event for $10 per person. Attendees will be able to sample more than 50 different beers from over 20 different breweries from around the United States right on the playing field at NBT Bank Stadium. Stadium concession stands will be open during the event, which is scheduled to take place from 1:00pm to 4:00pm, and parking will be free.
