
Wings Acquire Dwane and Hawksbee in Dispersal Draft

The Philadelphia Wings indoor lacrosse team acquired two players in a dispersal draft conducted today by the National Lacrosse League. Wings General Manager and Head Coach Lindsay Sanderson selected forward Matt Dwane and defenseman Ian Hawksbee in a two-round draft consisting of players from the Vancouver Ravens.
Dwane recorded 22 goals (13G, 9A) for the Ravens during the 2004 season. Hawksbee was selected by the Ravens in the second round (eleventh overall) from the Burnaby Lakers of the Western Lacrosse Association in the National Lacrosse League's 2004 Entry Draft.
