Toronto Rock to take on the Philadelphia Wings in Pre-Season Exhibition Game

Barrie, ON - The Toronto Rock announced today they will take part in the team's first pre-season exhibition game on Ontario turf in two years. On Thursday December 30, 2004 at 7:30pm, the Toronto Rock will take on the Philadelphia Wings at the Molson Center in Barrie, ON.
Rock Captain, Jim Veltman made the announcement at a press conference at Philthy McNasty's in Barrie alongside Philadelphia Wings Head Coach and General Manager Lindsay Sanderson.
"We're very excited to be able to play a pre-season exhibition game in a city like Barrie where lacrosse is starting to see a great deal of growth. It's a great opportunity to be able to showcase two strong teams with such a rich history for lacrosse fans outside of Toronto." Jim Veltman, Toronto Rock Forward.
Fans will be able to catch familiar Rock players such as Jim Veltman, Blaine Manning, Colin Doyle, Bob Watson and other returning players in action at this special event. They also will be able to see new players including Josh and Phil Sanderson, Rusty Kruger, John Preece, Jim Quinlan, Brian Beisel and Sean Turner take to the floor.
Tickets for the game sponsored by Molson Canadian and the Barrie Lakeshores, are just $14.00 and can be purchased through Ticketmaster at (705) 739 7666 or in person at the Barrie Molson Center Box Office.
