Winger Justin Chwedoruk Reassigned to Dayton

Dayton, OH - The Dayton Bombers announced today that the NHL's Edmonton Oilers have reassigned winger Justin Chwedoruk to Dayton.

Chwedoruk ("chew-dor-uk"), a 5-foot-9-inch, 170-pound native of St. Albert, Alberta, joins the Bombers after playing 34 games with the Stockton Thunder. He has eight goals and six assists for 14 points this season, while being whistled for 40 PIM.

The fourth-year pro skated last season with Bakersfield and Wheeling, recording 30 points (17g,13a) in 66 games. He also earned his first American Hockey League promotion last year, when he played three games with the Springfield Falcons, tallying one goal.

Chwedoruk had a career year in 2006-07 with the Quad City Mallards of the UHL, picking up a career-high 24 goals and 44 assists in 71 games.
