Beloit Snappers third baseman David Winfree has been named to the 2005 Midwest League Post Season All-Star Team. Winfree was the lone Snappers representative on the 14 person team. This season he has played in 123 games. Winfree is hitting .289 and driven in 91 RBI's second in the Midwest League. He leads the league in hits with 147, and has also tallied 29 doubles and 15 home runs. The Minnesota Twins selected Winfree in the 13th round of the June 2003 draft.
The Snappers had five named to the Midwest League's Mid-Season All-Star Team. Those players were pitchers Anthony Swarzak, Jay Rainville and Steven Duguay, along with catcher Javi Sanchez and outfielder Deacon Burns.
