Windy City Bulls Schedule Open Tryout

HOFFMAN ESTATES, IL - The Windy City Bulls, the NBA Development League affiliate of the Chicago Bulls, have announced a local open player tryout on Sunday, September 25 at Harper College's Fitness Center located in Palatine, IL.

Participants will have the opportunity to showcase their talent in front of basketball operations personnel, including Brian Hagen, Assistant General Manager of the Chicago Bulls, and Jeff Feld, Basketball Operations Manager of the Windy City Bulls, as well as professional basketball scouts. Players will be competing for an invitation to the Windy City Bulls training camp in November. Online pre-registration is available now at www.WindyCityBulls.com and is strongly encouraged in advance of the tryout.

The registration fee is $175 in advance or $225 on the day of the tryout. Registration is non-refundable and space is limited to the first 150 individuals to sign up. Registration will only be accepted online or via mail, instructions which may be found at www.WindyCityBulls.com - phone calls or walk-in advance registrations will not be accepted.

On-site registration for the camp will occur at 9 am on September 25, and the camp will begin at 10 am that day. The Windy City Bulls, the official NBA Development League Affiliate of the Chicago Bulls, are preparing for their inaugural season in the heart of Chicago's northwest suburbs. Beginning in November, the team will play 24 home games at the Sears Centre Arena in Hoffman Estates. The NBA D-League, which is entering its 16th season, will expand to 22 teams for the 2016-17 season with the additions of the Windy City Bulls, Greensboro Swarm, and Long Island Nets. Last season saw 32 D-League players called up to the NBA a total of 42 times.
