Windy City Bulls Lose Heartbreaker on the Road against Greensboro Swarm

The Windy City Bulls, presented by BMO, the NBA G League affiliate of the Chicago Bulls, lost to the Greensboro Swarm 111-110 Saturday afternoon at Novant Health Fieldhouse. Windy City was led by guard Chris Clemons who finished with 30 points and four rebounds.

Chicago Bulls Two-Way forward Henri Drell chipped in 23 points, six rebounds and four assists. Guard Quenton Jackson finished with 17 points, three rebounds and three assists.

Clemons had eight points off the bench for the Bulls in the first quarter, however, the Swarm took a 31-22 lead to close out the first 12 minutes. Windy City won the second quarter, scoring 25 points, to cut Greensboro's lead to six at halftime.

Drell scored 12 points in the third quarter, giving Windy City a two-point lead. Center Derrick Favors made a free throw with 2.6 seconds left to give Windy City a one-point lead, but then was called for a goaltend on the other end in the following possession.

Greensboro was led by guard Terrell Brown Jr. with 22 points, six rebounds and two assists. Center Jeremiah Tilmon added 20 points, six rebounds and four assists.

With the loss, Windy City fell to 0-3 in the regular season, while Greensboro improved to 2-0.

Next up, Windy City will take on the Stockton Kings for their first home game of the regular season on Friday, January 5 at NOW Arena. The game is slated to tip-off at 7:00 p.m. CT and will be broadcasted live on NBAGLeague.com.
