
Charge Split Pair with Nets

CLEVELAND, OH - The Cleveland Charge (1-1) split a two-game series with the Long Island Nets (1-2) to begin the regular season after a 147-105 defeat at the Wolstein Center on Saturday night.
Isaiah Mobley led the Charge with 24 points and seven rebounds. Emoni Bates scored 16 points, while Sharife Cooper scored 15 and dished out six assists.
Long Island was led by a quarter of 20+ point scorers: Keon Johnson came off the bench to score 26 with six boards. Kennedy Chandler scored 23 points, while Kyler Edwards and Armoni Brooks each poured in 21 points. The Nets cleaned the glass for a 56-31 advantage on rebounds, including 16 offensive boards.
The Charge will ring in the new year at the Wolstein Center with the Salt Lake City Stars on Tuesday, January 2 at 7:00 p.m.
