
Windy City Bulls Fall to Grand Rapids

Windy City Bulls News Release
The Windy City Bulls, presented by BMO, the NBA G League affiliate of the Chicago Bulls, lost to the Grand Rapids Gold 115-108 Tuesday night at Van Andel Arena. Windy City was led by guard Jeremy Pargo with a double-double of 22 points and 11 assists.
Seven Windy City players scored in double figures, including forward Henri Drell with 19 points and 10 rebounds. Chicago Bulls Assignment center Marko Simonović chipped in 11 points and grabbed 11 rebounds.
The Bulls jumped out to an early 13-3 advantage less than three minutes into the game, but Grand Rapids fought back to get within three points of Windy City heading into the second period.
Windy City led for most of the second quarter, but the Gold caught fire near the end of the half to grab a five-point lead entering the break.
Both teams went back-and-forth in the second half until Windy City ran out of gas near the end, falling to the Gold by seven.
Grand Rapids was led by guard Jared Butler with 23 points on 9-for-17 shooting from the field. Gold guard Trevon Duval chipped in 17 points.
With the loss, Windy City fell to 8-11 in the regular season, while Grand Rapids improved to 6-14.
After the All-Star break, the Bulls will host the Raptors 905 on Wednesday, Feb. 22. The game is slated to tip-off at 7 p.m. and will be broadcast live on ESPN+ and will air on NBC Sports Chicago following the Chicago Blackhawks game that evening.
