
Windsor Spitfires to Honour Mickey Renaud Next Week

The Windsor Spitfires are proud to announce that the team will be honouring Mickey Renaud starting this upcoming Sunday, with a set of tributes to be hosted at the WFCU Centre.
The team will be wearing their special occasion commemorative jerseys for all home games played by the team on the upcoming Sunday, February 13th 2 pm home game against the Sarnia Sting as well as their 7:05 pm home games on Wednesday, February 16th against the Kitchener Rangers and Friday, February 18th against the Plymouth Whalers.
On February 18th, the Spitfires will be hosting their annual Mickey Renaud tribute game against the Whalers. Sutherland Global Services will be on hand for a special pre-game presentation, honouring the winners of the Sutherland Global Services Mickey Renaud Scholarship Fund for the upcoming academic year and sponsors who have supported the fund.
The Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario (HSFO) will also be collecting donations from fans as doors open for the game. The funds raised will be distributed to the HSFO and the aforementioned scholarship fund.
