Erie Otters News Release
The Erie Otters of the Ontario Hockey League have announced that they will work with the Erie City Mission in the fight to stop hunger by presenting Macaroni Madness for the two remaining Wednesday home games of the regular season. The first Macaroni Madness game will take place Wednesday, February 16 when the Otters host the Owen Sound Attack.
Any fan that brings in a box of macaroni and cheese to a Wednesday home game can get in for $4.00. Fans are encouraged to "Shake, Shake, Shake" their boxes during the game and all macaroni will be collected and donated at the end of the game to the Erie City Mission.
Adding to the value of the Wednesday games are the usual Buck Night fare, with Smith's hot dogs, Coca-Cola products, beer and popcorn all available for $1.00 each.
Sponsoring Macaroni Madness are Lake Erie Spine and Injury Center, Esser Family Dental, WICU and WSEE. Tickets for Wednesday's game can be purchased at the Civic Center Box Office, online at ottershockey.com, or by calling 814-452-4857.
The Otters begin a three-game road trip in Ottawa tonight at 7:30 p.m. against the 67's. Fans can listen to all the action on Fox Sports Radio AM 1330 The Fan or online at ottershockey.com (courtesy of the James H. Cross Company).
