HIGHLIGHTS: With the ballgame tied at two in the 8th inning Thursday night, Williamsport broke it open scoring seven runs in the frame highlighted by OF Ryan Searage's grand slam home run. The Cutters got another excellent outing from starter Todd Redmond, going 6 innings and giving up 2 runs on 4 hits. His ERA now stands at 1.59. Darren Newlin came on to pitch the final 3 innings, giving up one run while picking up the victory as the beneficiary of the Cutters scoring barrage in the 8th. After starting their road trip with 3 straight losses, Williamsport has bounced back to win their last 2 games. The final game of the trip takes place Friday evening in Brooklyn.
