Weekly Rewind

Fri., Mar. 27 - Penguins 3 at BINGHAMTON 1

Scott Wilson opened the scoring three minutes into the second period, but it would be Jayson Megna's shorthanded goal with 2:27 left until the first intermission that proved to be the game-winner in W-B/Scranton's 3-1 victory over the Senators. Carter Rowney also scored for the Penguins, while goalie Matt Murray had 25 saves on the night

Sat., Mar. 28 - Penguins 1 at LEHIGH VALLEY 4

Scott Laughton collected two goals and an assist to help Lehigh Valley to a 4-1 win over W-B/Scranton. Laughton gathered his first of the night at 9:44 in the first period and, 1:15 later, Jesper Pettersson doubled the Phantoms lead. It was 3-0 for Lehigh Valley before Andrew Ebbett would net the lone goal for W-B/Scranton midway through the third.

The Week Ahead

Wed., Apr. 1 - PENGUINS vs. Hartford

Hartford is in second place in the Northeast Division with a record of 36-22-5-4 and tied for fifth in the Eastern Conference, two points behind the Penguins. Conor Allen is first among AHL defensemen with a shooting percentage of 14.1%.

Fri., Apr. 3 - PENGUINS vs. Worcester

The Sharks (37-23-4-2) are third in the Atlantic Division and also tied seventh in the conference. Rookie Evan Trupp has compiled 38 points this season (16G-22A), which is 10th -best among AHL rookies.

Sat., Apr. 4 - PENGUINS vs. Worcester

The Phantoms (30-29-6-1) make their final regular season visit to W-B/Scranton, having won three of the previous five meetings at Mohegan Sun Arena. Jason Akeson has recorded seven points (3G-4A) in six games versus W-B/Scranton.

Ice Chips

- On Saturday in Lehigh Valley, Matt Murray fell in regulation for the first time since Jan. 31, going 11-0-1 in between losses.

- Murray still leads the AHL in goals against average (1.59), save percentage (.940) and shutouts (10).

- Taylor Chorney ranks first in the AHL with a +26 plus-minus rating.

- Andrew Ebbett has posted points in 11 of his last 12 games, collecting seven goals and eight assists.

- Jayson Megna tallied his 20th goal of the season on Friday in Binghamton, pulling him into a tie for the team lead with Conor Sheary.

- With a record on 32-4-2-1, Wilkes-Barre/Scranton has the most victories (32) and best winning percentage (.878) in the league when scoring first.

- The Penguins' magic number currently stands at nine.
