Wildcatters Coming To Parkdale Mall This Saturday

BEAUMONT, TX (September 7, 2005) - The Texas Wildcatters announced today they will be appearing at Parkdale Mall in Beaumont this Saturday, September 10. The ‘Catters Caravan will run from noon until 5 p.m and at the Sunken Garden near the Food Court.

Admission is free and hockey fans of all ages are invited to stop by the Wildcatters display. In addition to distributing information on their new, reduced-price ticket plans, the Wildcatters have several special events planned:

1 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. -- Head Coach Tony MacAulay and new Wildcatters defenseman Geno Parrish will be on hand to speak with fans about the upcoming hockey season

2:30 p.m. - 4 p.m. -- Everyone's favorite mascot, Gusher, will hang out with all the kids

All Afternoon -- Kids can come by and try their hand at NHL2K6, the newest hockey video game for the Playstation2 and Xbox

Fans can also stop by the Wildcatters booth and watch some great hockey highlights, including awesome goals and crushing hits!

The new-look Wildcatters open their third season on October 21 at Florida, before returning to Ford Arena for the home opener on October 29 against the Mississippi Sea Wolves.
