Wildcats To Host Military Appreciation Night

Moncton NB - On Friday February 19, the Moncton Wildcats will host Military Appreciation Night. Presented by Coast Tire the Cats will take on the Shawinigan Cataractes with the puck drop slated for 7pm. This marks the fifth season that the Wildcats have hosted Military Appreciation Night as an opportunity to thank servicemen, women and families for their contributions.

Prior to the game there will be a special display of military equipment in front of the Coliseum. Inside, Military mascot Juno will team up with Wild Willie to welcome those attending. The 8CH Pipes and Drum band will provide entertainment and information and recruitment tables will be on display. The Color Guard will be presented with active members of the Military providing the honor guard for the ceremonial puck drop. Throughout the the game various active, reserve and retired members of the Military will be recognized.

The Wildcats through the support of the CN Community Ticket program provide tickets for the game to the local Military. Fans attending Military Appreciation Night are asked to wear "RED" to show their support for our troops and their families. Tickets are available through the Coliseum Box office at 506-857-4100.
