Wildcats lose tight game in OT

Moncton, NB - The Wildcats lost a tight game to the relocated franchise the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada 3-2 in OT. Raphaël Pouliot made a really nice tip out of the air to beat Roman Will for the game winner. Will had a great game making 15 saves in the 3rd period to keep the Cats in the game. Allain Saulnier opened the scoring in the first. Brandon Gormley continued his Power Play dominance with another PP marker to make it a 2-1 hockey game in the second.

The Cats were 1/2 on the PP while the Armada went 0/4. Shots on goal were 37-27 in favor of the Armada. Attendance at the game was 3046 and the three stars were:

1. BLB - William Racicot

2. MON - 19 Allain Saulnier

3. BLB - 18 Cédrick Paquette

The Wildcats are back in action on at home Friday October 28th at 7PM versus the PEI Rocket at the Moncton Coliseum. This will mark the first game of the Pink in the Rink weekend in support of Breast Cancer.

*Defenseman Lance Pridham was placed on waivers today.
