
Wildcats Host Daytona Beach "City of Albany- Government Night"

June 6, 2008, ALBANY, GA- When the Wildcats hit Cooper Tire Field Saturday night for another divisional contest against the Daytona Beach ThunderBirds, there will be hundreds of City employees on hand for "City of Albany - Government Night".
"City of Albany - Government Night" festivities will include Makeba Wright-Jackson, Safety Officer at the Southwest Georgia Regional Airport, and Carla Hawkins, Recruiter at Albany State University, performing the National Anthem. The invocation will be delivered by Walter Price, Materials Manager at the City Store Room. Wes Smith, Assistant City Manager for Customer Service and Support, and James Taylor, Assistant City Manager for Public Services, will perform the Coin Toss. Don Buie, Downtown Manager and ADICA CEO, will deliver the Game Ball.
"We're excited about the added value the Wildcats bring to this community," said Downtown Manager Don Buie. "We are looking forward to a great game Saturday night and it's our goal to help the Wildcats pack the Civic Center as they continue their playoff push."
