Wildcats enjoy Party on the Pond

Moncton Wildcats News Release
On Sunday afternoon, the snowball shots were right on target, the toboggan rides were bumpy, and the ice sculptures a sign of art. It was all part of the Moncton Wildcats players enjoying the City of Moncton's planned family outing called Party on the Pond, Sunday afternoon.
It was a chance for the Wildcats to relax and enjoy the fun of being outdoors on a winter afternoon. The Cats had a chance to throw snowballs, snow board down hills, skate on an outdoor rink and meet hundreds of Moncton area families.
There's more community activity for the Wildcats this weekend. They're home for a Saturday game against Cape Breton and a Sunday afternoon contest with the Shawinigan Cataractes.
Students who participated in the highly successful Reading is Wild program will be guests of the team at both weekend games. In addition, fans will have an opportunity to bid on specially designed warm up jerseys in support of Hockey Ministries International at the games. The fundraising auction will end following Sunday's game.
