Coaches, scouts and staff of the Moncton Wildcats will join the other 17 teams of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League for annual League draft and meetings, starting next Wednesday in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island.
The Wednesday, Thursday, Friday agenda consists of meetings of team officials including General Managers, Coaches, educational coordinators and support staff meetings.
A trading period is scheduled for Friday, June 9th from 8 to 10 am while the regular meeting of the League's Board of Governors will take place the same afternoon from 2 -4:30 pm.
The draft will be held at the Charlottetown Civic Centre starting at 10 am Saturday morning and will be carried live on the Wildcats internet site in a cooperative venture with Aliant.
The Wildcats winners of the QMJHL championship and holders of the President's Cup will get their first selection in the 3rd round with a third place pick, 39th overall.
Pending trades, Moncton will have a pair of picks in round six, one in rounds 7, 8 and will have the final pick from rounds 9 to 15.
