Washington Wild Things News Release
Washington, Pa. â Friday's game between the Washington Wild Things and the Richmond Roosters has been cancelled because of rain.
The game has been rescheduled as part of a doubleheader when Richmond returns to Washington in July.
Tickets for today's cancelled game can be exchanged for any other game of the 2004 season based on availability.
Tomorrow, June 12, Falconi Field will host three WPIAL All-Star Games. The gates open at 10 a.m., and first game is scheduled for 11 a.m. The Class A game will be played first, the AA game second, and the AAA game will be the finale.
Pine Richland's Neil Walker, who was the Pittsburgh Pirates No. 1 pick in last weeks Major League Baseball draft, will not play, but will make an appearance during the AAA game.
The Wild Things will be in action tomorrow, June 12, in Kalamazoo. Action begins at 7:05 p.m.
