
Wild Things Break Losing Streak with Big Win

CRESTWOOD, IL - The Washington Wild Things (18-8) ended their season long three game losing streak with a 23-7 win over the Cook County Cheetahs (11-12) on Sunday.
Cook County led 3-2 after two innings but Washington scored 7 runs in the fourth inning to take the lead for good. Dave Bradley (4-1) pitched five innings for the win, giving up three runs on six hits. Brian Dorsey, Keith Strickland, Doug Heagen and Anthony Kozol each pitched one inning of relief.
The Wild Things hit four home runs in the game. Josh Loggins hit his league leading eighth, Joe Cuervo hit his first; Tim McCabe hit a grand slam and Jon Cahill hit his second. Chris Tuttle went 4-for-7 with 5 RBI and 2 runs scored. Joel Buchenauer went 4-for-6 with 4 runs scored and 1 RBI.
