Wild Reassigns Dubielewicz, Straub Signed To PTO

HOUSTON - Minnesota Wild General Manager Chuck Fletcher today announced the National Hockey League (NHL) club has reassigned goaltender Wade Dubielewicz (DOO-bih-wihtz) to the Houston Aeros of the American Hockey League (AHL). Aeros General Manager Jim Mill also today announced the AHL club has signed defenseman Brandon Straub to a professional tryout contract (PTO). Dubielewicz, 31 (1/30/79), is 0-1-0 with a 3.85 goals against average (GAA) and a.828 SV% in two games (one start) with the Wild this season. He is 12-12-0 with a 2.62 GAA and a.898 save percentage (SV%) in 29 games with Houston.

Straub, 27 (3/1/83), has tallied seven points (2-5=7) and 185 PIM in 58 games with the Allen Americans of the Central Hockey League (CHL). Straub has played in 13 combined AHL games for the Lake Erie Monsters and Quad City Flames. Straub will wear No. 29 with the Aeros.
