WhiteWings, Coyotes Rained Out

Edinburg, TX - Tonight's game between the first half champion Rio Grande Valley WhiteWings (38-34, 9-13) and the Edinburg Coyotes (32-40, 6-16) was postponed due to rain. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader consisting of two seven inning games on Sunday at 5:05 p.m.

The WhiteWings and Coyotes are already scheduled to play a doubleheader tomorrow at 6:05 p.m. Joe Rogers (9-2) and Kenny Evoniuk (1-2) are expected to start for the WhiteWings while Maximino de la Cruz (6-4) and Julian Williams (3-4) are expected to pitch on Sunday.

This series marks the final time the WhiteWings play in Edinburg, though they will welcome the Coyotes into town for two series in August.
