Whitecaps FC and Phillips Brewing & Malting Co. Partner to Bring the Warmup to the Plaza of Nations

VANCOUVER, BC - The Warmup is coming to the Plaza of Nations this summer.
Vancouver Whitecaps FC and Phillips Brewing & Malting Co. announced on Thursday a new pregame outdoor party prior to all Saturday home matches this summer, starting on July 13.
"I am so happy to hear that Whitecaps FC are pushing forward with another way to get together before matches," said Mike Kruk, member of Rain City Brigade. "We all love footy and we all love beer. What better way to enjoy a Saturday!"
The Warmup will take place from 2 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. PT, featuring $5 craft beer, food trucks, and entertainment including live DJs. Entry to The Warmup is free and welcome to all ages, with access off of Pacific Boulevard or the False Creek Seawall.
"We are really excited to invite the entire community to these free events for all," said Rachel Lewis, Whitecaps FC chief operating officer. "Come down and enjoy food, drinks and entertainment, and hopefully stay for a 'Caps game."
Phillips will be leading the beer selection with their fantastical rolling beer wagon. Attendees will also be able to enjoy drinks from Four Winds, Strange Fellows, el Jimador, Booster Juice, and Trace Beverages.
Confirmed food trucks include Tacofino and Chickpea. Games will include Giant Jenga, Cornhole, Soccer Tennis, and EA SPORTS FIFA 19.
