Whitecaps FC 2 Announce 2017 USL Schedule

VANCOUVER, BC - Vancouver Whitecaps FC announced on Tuesday the complete 2017 schedule for Whitecaps FC 2 (WFC2) in their third season in the United Soccer League (USL).For the second consecutive season, WFC2 will be playing their home matches at UBC Thunderbird Stadium in Vancouver, and at McLeod Athletic Park in Langley.

UBC Thunderbird Stadium will once again host majority of the WFC2 home matches, starting against San Antonio FC on April 22. Notable opponents visiting UBC Thunderbird Stadium include 2016 regular season champion Sacramento Republic FC on April 29, and expansion side Reno 1868 FC on July 15.

Their six-match Langley home slate includes the April 8 home opener versus Seattle Sounders FC 2, plus two other Cascadia matches against Sounders FC 2 on July 1, and versus Timbers 2 on September 30. In addition, the Township of Langley will play host to the fixtures on May 28 versus Real Monarchs SLC, July 12 versus Swope Park Rangers, and August 27 versus LA Galaxy II.

For tickets, fans have options for the WFC2 2017 Membership, including the 10-match UBC Thunderbird Stadium membership, and the six-match McLeod Stadium Langley membership. Seven-ticket flex packs are also available that may be used for either home venue. Click here for more ticket information.

Whitecaps FC 2 are coming off a successful 2016 season that saw the young side reach the Western Conference Final for the first time, and four WFC2 players earn MLS contracts in Alphonso Davies, Brett Levis, Kyle Greig, and Spencer Richey. As a bridge between the club's Residency program and MLS first team, WFC2 allow promising young players to develop in a competitive professional environment.
