Swift Current Broncos News Release
The Toronto Maple Leafs announced this morning that 19-year-old defenceman Ian White has been reassigned to the Swift Current Broncos. White was drafted in the sixth round in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft by the Maple Leafs. He finished third in the league last season in scoring among defenceman with 24 goals and 44 assists for 68 points, and was named a year-end Eastern Conference First-Team All-Star. White is expected be in the line-up on Tuesday when the Broncos host the Red Deer Rebels. This leaves Matej Trojovsky as the only Bronco still at NHL Training Camp as he remains with Carolina.
