Montreal, July 10, 2012 - Brandon Whitaker had a game for the ages last week, setting a number of career-bests in a big win over division rival Winnipeg, on his way to being named the CFL's Offensive Player of the Week.

Brandon Whitaker - Offensive Player of the Week The Edmond, Oklahoma native was a workhorse in last week's 41-30 victory over the Blue Bombers at Percival Molson Stadium. The Alouettes' running back amassed a game-high 137 receiving yards on 11 receptions while setting a new career-high with three touchdowns.

Quarterback Anthony Calvillo found his running back coming out of the backfield for a 21-yard score in the first quarter and another from 14 yards out in the fourth quarter. The versatile tailback also added a rushing touchdown in the fourth quarter while padding his numbers with 98 yards on the ground on 16 carries.
