Tiger-Cats Add Three to Practice Roster

Hamilton, Ontario - The Hamilton Tiger-Cats announced today that the team has added three players to the team's practice roster; import defensive end Kevin Basped, import defensive tackle Jada Brown and import defensive back Clem Johnson.

Basped, a 6-4, 254-pound native of Sacramento, California, has spent time with the NFL's New York Jets and UFL's Omaha Nighthawks over the last two seasons. He recorded 132 tackles, 23.5 quarterback sacks and 42.5 tackles for a loss in three seasons at Nevada.

Brown, a 6-2, 265-pound native of College Park, Georgia, attended training camp with the Ticats last month following stints with the UFL's Virginia Destroyers and the Arena Football League's Kansas City Command.

Johnson, 6-0, 190-pound native of Carlisle, Pennsylvania, also suited up in training camp with the Ticats earlier this year after finishing his collegiate career at NC State.

The Ticats also announced that import offensive lineman Nick Claytor has been added to the nine-game injured list.
