Edmonton Elks News Release
(Edmonton) The Edmonton Eskimos have released import running back John Goebel, import defensive back Rico Murray, and import kicker Swayze Waters.
Goebel spent the last quarter of the 2011 season on the Esks practice roster and took part in the 2012 Eskimo training camp, playing in one pre-season game against Calgary. Waters and Murray have both spent the first two weeks of the 2012 season on the practice roster.
