Rome, GA - The West Virginia Power topped the Rome Braves 7-2 Sunday afternoon at State Mutual Stadium before a crowd of 2,004. The Power took the four game series three games to one.

West Virginia took a 2-0 lead in the second on Robbie Glendinning's (2) two run home run and added to their lead in the third thanks to Deon Stafford's RBI single for the 3-0 score. Rome made it a 3-1 game in the fifth on Jefrey Ramos' sacrifice fly RBI. In the seventh, a wild pitch allowed Rome's second run of the game to cross the plate but in the top of the eighth, West Virginia scored twice on a fielding error by Kevin Josephina and a wild pitch for the 5-2 score. The Power added two insurance runs in the ninth and the Braves went quietly in the bottom of the inning for the 7-2 final.

Hunter Stratten (6-5) earns the win while Rome's Alan Rangel (5-7) gets the loss. Beau Sulser earns his seventh save of the season.
