WENATCHEE, Wash. - The Wenatchee Wild have announced a trade with the Prince Albert Raiders of the Western Hockey League (WHL), acquiring 2004-born forward Gabe Ludwig from Prince Albert in exchange for Wenatchee's eighth-round selection in the 2027 WHL Prospects Draft.

Hailing from Eagle River, Alaska, Ludwig has played in 130 games during his WHL career, posting 33 points in action with the Seattle Thunderbirds and Prince Albert. His acquisition by the Wild marks a return to the U.S. Division for Ludwig, who played his first 93 WHL games in a Seattle uniform before joining the Raiders roster in a trade last November.

The Wenatchee Wild are proud to welcome Gabe Ludwig to the Wild family, and look forward to his continued contributions and development with the Wild organization.
