
Wenatchee Wild Announce Acquisition of Luka Shcherbyna from Spokane Chiefs

WENATCHEE, Wash. - The Wenatchee Wild have announced a trade with the Spokane Chiefs of the Western Hockey League (WHL), acquiring 2006-born forward Luka Shcherbyna from Spokane in exchange for Wenatchee's third-round selection in the 2027 WHL Prospects Draft.
A native of Vancouver, British Columbia, Shcherbyna has played two WHL games for the Chiefs, one during the 2021-22 season and one in the 2022-23 season. He has four years of experience in the Canadian Sport School Hockey League, with the last three coming as a member of the St. George's School program in Vancouver.
The Wenatchee Wild are proud to welcome Luke Shcherbyna to the Wild family, and look forward to his continued contributions and development with the Wild organization.
