
Welsh Reassigned to Wolves

The Chicago Wolves announced Saturday that center Jeremy Welsh has been reassigned by St. Louis (NHL). He should be available for the Wolves' Salute to Military Families Night game, presented by Kia and Magellan, at 7 p.m. today.
The 27-year-old Welsh appeared in two games for the Blues -- both of them wins -- and accrued 2 penalty minutes during his stint. He has posted 5 goals and 3 assists with a +3 plus/minus rating in 11 games for the Central Division-leading Wolves this season.
The Bayfield, Ontario, native notched 20 goals and 21 assists in 75 games for Chicago in 2014-15. He has contributed 1 goal, 1 assist and an even plus/minus rating during 27 NHL appearances spread over four seasons.
The Wolves face the Grand Rapids Griffins at 7 p.m. today for Salute to Military Families Night, presented by Kia and Magellan. The Wolves then host Star Wars Day at 4 p.m. Sunday against the Iowa Wild.
