New Mexico United News Release

(ALBUQUERQUE, New Mexico) New Mexico United now sits alone atop the USL Championship Western Conference standings, as they defeated San Antonio FC, 3:0 at Isotopes Park. Devon Sandoval drew first blood, and Chris Wehan added a brace as United roared to victory in front of 15,023 fans.

Sandoval opened the scoring in the 9th minute, when a beautiful Kevaughn Frater cross landed right at his feet. In the 59th minute, Wehan notched his first, as Santi Moar found him streaking. He would add his second in the 63rd minute, this time off of Frater's second assist on the night.
