CONDORSTOWN, Calif. - The Bakersfield Condors posted a 2-1 record last week, including a split of a two-game series in Colorado. The Condors currently sit in 7th place in the Western Conference with a 13-16-0-1 record and 27 points in the standings. They trail 6th place San Francisco by two points, but have four games in hand on the Bulls and a better win percentage.
They wrap up their four-game road trip Friday in Ontario before returning home this Saturday, Jan. 11 against Las Vegas for Dodgers vs. Giants Pillow Pet Giveaway Night.

The week started with a 3-0 New Year's Day triumph in Las Vegas, powered by a 17-save performance by G Laurent Brossoit and a pair of goals by C Joel Broda.
After falling by a narrow 3-2 margin in the Colorado opener on Friday, the team rebounded with a 2-1 victory on Saturday to earn a split of the weekend set.
LW Chris Collins scored the go-ahead goal 26 seconds into the third period and G Tyler Bunz posted a 35-save effort to make it stand. Rookie D George Hughes also netted his second of the season in the win for Bakersfield.
NOTES: C Joel Broda saw his five-game goal streak come to an end on Saturday. He had six goals during the streak. Rookie C Matt Thurber has 10 points (2g-8a) in 14 games since joining the team.LW Chris Collins has six points (2g-4a) in his last six games.The Condors penalty kill has climbed from 6th in the ECHL to 2nd in the span of one week. The PK has been successful on 45 of their last 48 opportunities and is now at 87.7%Bakersfield allows just 26.13 shots per game, second-lowest in the league.Bakersfield is 12-6 in their last 18 games, and 5-1 in their last six.The team will return to home ice Saturday nursing a 5-game home winning streak.
