This Week:

12/4 at Augusta: Tuesday's contest will mark the fourth all-time meeting between Johnstown and Augusta. The Lynx took the 2-1 lead in the series by sweeping Johnstown last season by winning 7-2 in Augusta on 1/6/07, and 6-4 in Johnstown on 1/27. Augusta's attack is keyed by forward Aaron Slattengren who has 15 goals and nine assists in 20 games. Slattengren did not register a point the last year against the Cheifs. Chiefs' leading goal scorer Jean Desrochers had one goal and one assist in the two games against the Lynx.

12/5 at Columbia: The Chiefs and Inferno played an entertaining, wide-open game back on 11/21 at the War Memorial, a game that the Chiefs won 4-2. Johnstown was lead in that game by Rob Drummond who scored both at even strength and shorthanded, while Ryan Garlock also scored a shortie and Jean Desrochers tallied on the power play. Andrew Penner played a strong game as well, making saves on three different Inferno breakaways. Columbia is a fairly tough opponent on home ice with a 6-4 record, and two losses coming by way of overtime or a shootout.

12/7 at Charlotte: The all-time series between the Chiefs and Checkers is a tight one with the record standing at 6-6-1. Charlotte won their sixth of the series by beating Johnstown 5-1 on 11/10/06 in Johnstown last season. Blake Bellefeuille and Dusty Jamieson, Charlotte's two leading scores this season, each had a hand in the winning goal last season. Bellefeuille earned one of the two assists on Jamieson's tally. The Checkers have had a plethora of goaltenders see time this season, seven in all have played at least one game.

12/8 & 12/9 at South Carolina: The Chiefs and Stingrays renew acquaintances for the first (and final) time this season after the two split a pair of games in Johnstown on 10/24 and 10/27 respectively. The Chiefs won the first game, 4-3, in dramatic fashion on Rob Drummond's overtime winner, but were unable to withstand a third-period rally by the Rays in the second and fell 3-1. The 3-1 loss was only the second game that the Chiefs lost when scoring first, with the other being the 6-4 loss to Reading on 10/20.
